Group Fitness

Do you enjoy working out in a group setting? Indianapolis Healthplex offers a variety of formats to suit everyone’s needs. All of our instructors are experienced and certified professionals who will help motivate you and help you reach your fitness goals.

 

With over 50 free classes per week, there is a class for everyone. Our convenient class times make getting in shape fun and easy. We offer all of the most popular group fitness classes that you are sure to enjoy. If you are new to group fitness classes or if you have any previous injuries or contraindications, we recommend you come to class early and let the instructor know.

Specialty Classes

In addition to the many free classes that the Healthplex has to offer, we also include special classes that you can sign up and pay a small fee for the additional equipment used to conduct the class.

KANGOO POWER DANCE

Kangoo Power Dance is a unique cardio fitness class set to music that works the entire body engaging core muscles and building lean muscle through rebounding. The shoes act as shock absorbers to reduce impact and decrease joint stress.  Basic moves are easy to follow with ability to progress further. Safe, fun and effective this program suits a broad range of class attendees regardless of fitness level.

PILATES REFORMER

Pilates Reformer is strength training on the Allegro Reformer machine. This workout is so unique it cannot be duplicated by any other piece of equipment in the club. This type of training can change the shape of your body and work each muscle group while maintaining core control. Benefits of Pilates Reformer include increased core strength sculpted legs, buns and arms, lean muscle around the shoulders and improved body awareness and posture.
